Best read blog posts of 2015

First of all, I’d like to wish all of you a happy new year!

One of my goals for 2016 is to get more views on my blog. In 2015 the views were not as high as I would have wanted and I am thinking about actually setting a goal for 2016. While preparing for this, I was thinking of what I needed to do to actually achieve that. Yes, I need to get more active, which means I need to write more posts myself and comment on other blogs, but I have also searched my blog statistics for the best read blog posts of 2015. That might give me a clue of what to write about. The results were pretty clear.

The five best read blog posts of 2015 were:

  1. The summer I found Enid Blyton with 659 views.
  2. Welcome to the world little Marcel with 56 views.
  3. Stray (Shifters #1) – Rachel Vincent with 40 views.
  4. Becoming a mother with 28 views.
  5. Redeemed – PC Cast & Kristin Cast with 25 views.

These stats tell me that reviews of popular (fantasy) novels are read quite well compared to other genres. That will not change much though, as I will continue to read my own books and I do love reading all kinds of genres. Of course fantasy series are my favorites as well, so I will definitely write some reviews in that genre.

I kind of expected to find five book related posts in this list, but instead people have also read my blogs posts about my baby boy and my pregnancy. It is good to know that some personal blogs are nice for a change. So I will definitely keep writing those as well.

Other things I would love to write about are snail mail, music and things I run into while surfing online. So maybe I will find a way to add these to my blog as well as a regular feature.

Is there anything else you’d like to read about?
